Days after model turned-actor Sayali Bhagat lashed out against a talent management agency for circulating fake press releases about her, the manager of the agency has decided to sue her for criminal and civil defamation.
In a statement, the manager of the company claimed, "These statements are preposterous. On what grounds or capacity is Ms Bhagat claiming we're involved in 'cyber crimes'? We have not committed any crime. I reiterate that my company and I have only been reduced to innocent pawns in Sayali's ugly scheme of things. All emails were sent out on Sayali Bhagat's clear, specific instructions. She made the allegations she made against the actors in question well aware of what she was doing. I've already had a word with the police from the cyber cell and I've convinced them that we are innocent. We've been victimised and they understand that."
