Jaipur is a city known for its rich cultural heritage and beautiful palaces, and the team, including lead actors Ranbir Kapoor, Nargis Fakhri and singer Mohit Chauhan decided to go to the famous City Palace during their visit to the city.
They toured the entire palace, admiring its beautiful architecture, after which they paid a special visit to the royal family residing in the palace. The entire team met Her Highness Maharani Padmini Devi along with other members of the royal family and had a long chat with them over coffee.
The Maharani spoke to them about the mesmerising structural design of the palace, which is more than a century old. They also had a long discussion on varied topics ranging from the Rajasthani culture to her life experiences and even Bollywood. Apparently, a number of Bollywood movies like Eklavya and Umrao Jaan have been shot at the same palace.
The meeting was a one-of-a-kind experience for the entire team and the Maharani also went ahead and offered Ranbir, Nargis and Mohit an invitation to come and stay with the royal family during future visits.
