NEW DELHI, Oct. 21 -- The search for the leading lady opposite actor Prateik for Issaq is over, but the producer and director are in no mood to reveal the girl's identity. They think the chemistry between the girl and Prateik is the USP of the film and it should not fizzle out so soon as the release is yet far off.
Director Manish Tiwary says, "Since the film is an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, the chemistry between the two is very important. After a lot of search we have found the right girl. As of now, all I can say is I am very happy with Bachchi (her character's name in the film) and she certainly looks very good with Prateik."
Bachchi was found after auditioning 400 girls. According to sources, she looked so good with Prateik that as soon as the director was convinced of her acting skills, he singed her. Now the two of them have been asked not to be seen in public together.
The whole unit has been asked not to reveal the identity of the girl and to address the girl only by her screen name. Nobody is allowed to use cell phones on the sets to avoid getting both of them clicked in the same frame.
