Kareena Kapoor Red alert

Mumbai, Oct. 11 -- Oh, how responsible of her to have done this, exclaims Miss 007 rather sarcastically. She's referring to Kareena Kapoor, who refused to wear a shiny, blood-red sari for a Star Plus function that will be aired on TV closer to Diwali. Her reason was that her beau Saif Ali Khan's dad Nawab Pataudi has recently passed away.
And it would look really bad on her part if she dolls up for a public event. So, she asked the designer working on her costume for the show to tone the colours down to the point that they look pale and faded. Hmm, wonder why none of this understanding was shown after the demise of her grand-uncle Shammi Kapoor, in August. She hadn't even waited for his chautha... Phew! Point to hai!
