Hafiz Saeed Offers Shahrukh Khan To Come Pakistan

Chairman of Pakistan’s banned outfit Jamaatud Dawa Hafiz Saeed said on Saturday that he would welcome Shahrukh Khan in Pakistan if he felt unsafe in India.

Hafiz gave the statement in a time when Khan seemed to be in problem in India as he was facing criticism from Hindu extremists over being a Muslim.

Earlier Khan in his interview to an American magazine said Muslims had to face discrimination in India and he himself faced the same problem many times. He also revealed that many politicians asked him to go back to his native homeland, Pakistan, after 9/11 incident.

Khan showed worries about the future of his children in the interview.

Talking to a private Pakistani news channel, Express News, Hafiz said that if Khan felt unsafe in his country I would not only welcome him but also support him for his settlement in Pakistan.

The three khan's in love with Priyanka "In My City"

Katrina Kaif caught between Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan!

Katrina Kaif was never out of demand, but this time vying for her are two leading superstars: Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan.

Looks like there’s an unlikely tug of war for Kat underway between the two Khans. While the pernickety Mr. Perfectionist wants Katrina Kaif in Chicago for the ongoing shooting schedule of Dhoom 3, the King Khan wants her in Ladakh for the important sequences for which Katrina’s presence is mandated. Shahrukh Khan has won the first round of bout, as Katrina Kaif has left for Ladakh for a two-week schedule. Interestingly, sources claim that she won’t leave Ladakh even after her portions are filmed because Shahrukh wants her to be around while shooting some complex scenes.

Which means Aamir Khan will have to wait longer to practice stunts with Katrina Kaif in Chicago. The star has already started shooting the film in the US but seems unhappy over the overstretched absence of the film’s leading lady from the sets.

However, since both the films are being made under the banner of Yash Raj Films, shifting dates wasn’t an issue. Keeping the heroes happy may be a concern, but rest assured that Aamir Khan is not a star to throw tantrums. And though he and Shahrukh Khan may not be thick as thieves, they indeed are friends and professional enough to make adjustments.

Did Shahrukh Khan disrespect Indian national flag?

A case against Shahrukh Khan has been filed for ‘disrespecting’ the Indian national flag. The complainant is a Pune-based social worker.

Ravindra Bramhe, who is the national secretary of Lok Janshakti Party, has filed a case against Shahrukh Khan after watching a video in which the actor is seen carrying the national flag upside down.

According to Bramhe, he saw the clip on the internet and it shows Shahrukh Khan driving his car from his residence Mannat to celebrate the Indian Cricket team’s world cup win in April 2011. The actor, according to Bramhe, is seen carrying the tricolor upside down.

Though the offense seems inadvertent, Bramhe has filed a case against the superstar under the relevant sections of The Prevention of Insults to National Honour (Amendment) Act. However, he is dismayed by the fact that the Chatuhshrungi police station where he filed the complaint has transferred the case to Juhu police station in Mumbai.

Shahrukh Khan is presently in Ladakh shooting for Yash Chopra’s film. His patriotism is beyond doubt and it can be recalled that he cheered team India in the 2007 T20 World Cup final against Pakistan. He was also the first among the Bollywood stars to take to streets to celebrate India’s World Cup win last year.

Shahrukh Khan meets Aishwarya Rai’s daughter Aaradhya Bachchan

If any last nail was needed to bury the rumours of a rift between Shahrukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, it was hammered earlier this week when SRK paid a visit to Jalsa to meet Aishwarya Rai’s daughter Aaradhya.

The ever busy man that he is, Shahrukh Khan hadn’t yet had the time to meet Abhishek and Aishwarya’s daughter despite him being among the first ones to congratulate the couple after the news of Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy broke out last year.

We hear that finally on Wednesday night, Shahrukh was at Hrithik Roshan’s place when he decided to visit the Bachchans. He drove to Jalsa and spent some time playing with Aaradhya. Thereafter, he, Abhishek and Farah Khan (who had also arrived to see Aaradhya) spent a lot of time just chatting away.

The meeting, we hear, lasted till about 1.30 pm.

Shahrukh Khan is presently looking forward to the Yash Chopra film withKatrina Kaif. The superstar also has Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express in his kitty.

Shahrukh Khan cozying up with Katrina Kaif

ENGLISH ROMANCE!

By now you all know that Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are in London shooting for Yashraj Films’ untitled project, but do you know that the two stars recently shot for an intense romantic scene? Wonder what Salman Khanhas to say about this.

Some images from the romantic-passionate scene have already started doing the rounds of the internet. For those trying to smell something steamy, let us tell you the scene was shot outdoors and not indoors. Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are in a lane in London, and the romantic scene features SRK getting close to Kat, while she resists.

These kind of scenes are typical of Shahrukh Khan starrers; the actor has done similar scene with Madhuri Dixit in Dil Toh Pagal Hai, and also with Kajol in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. This time it’s Katrina Kaif’s turn.

In the picture, one can notice that Shahrukh is staring deep into Katrina’s eyes, but the actress is trying to avoid an eye contact, but she is wrested in Shahrukh’s strong arms. The intensity between the two is palpable. We are sureYash Chopra will once again give the audiences their favourite Khan as the romance king. Shahrukh looks best when he is romantic, and his female fans swear by this.

The film also has Anushka Sharma. A few days back her carefree look from the film was revealed to the fans. Anushka was seen enjoying the bike ride with Shahrukh Khan. However, in these pictures, catch Shahrukh as the love-struck man trying to coax Katrina Kaif, but for what?

Breaking News: Shahrukh Khan banned from Wankhede stadium for 5 years

Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan was banned from the Wankhede Stadium for five years, Mumbai Cricket Association President Vilasrao Deshmukh announced Friday.

The development comes two days after the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders allegedly got into a fracas with MCA officials and security personnel at the Wankhede stadium here in Mumbai.

SRK drunk and abusive? MCA says yes, star says no

Shah Rukh Khan was at the centre of an ugly row Thursday with allegations that he had got into a brawl with security personnel and officials at the Wankhede stadium. But the star issued a furious denial and said it was his children and others who had been "manhandled" and deserved an apology.

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner even faced a lifetime ban from entering the Wankhede Stadium after allegedly turning up there drunk at the ground and misbehaving with security guards and cricket officials Wednesday night.

The incident took place after his team beat Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League match at the stadium. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) filed a complaint with Mumbai's Marine Drive police station.

In a case of his word against theirs, Shah Rukh denied that he was drunk or that his behaviour was incorrect.

"I don't think that my behaviour was incorrect or I did something illegal. I think what I did was correct. They are my kids and I have a responsibility towards them. I will not apologise. They (officials) should apologise to me," Shah Rukh told reporters outside his residence.

Recounting his version, the 46-year-old said: "I had gone to pick up my children who were there to watch the match. I went there, congratulated my team and when I came back, I saw that there a gentleman was manhandling the children. They were pushing little girls. I just told him that this is not the way to behave.

"He (the official) spoke something in Marathi, something which I can't even repeat... I said he should not speak to me like this. It is extremely disturbing to see the way they manhandled children… I won't deny that I could have said something in a fit of anger," he added.

He said he was not drunk.

"I just drink socially. It is an easy way to pick on the celebrities and say things like that they were drunk or were angry."

The version of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) was completely different. Officials said Shah Rukh and his entourage wanted to celebrate after the presentation ceremony but were not allowed to do so.

He allegedly misbehaved with an elderly guard and pushed him. When MCA officials intervened, he is said to have abused them.

"This is a grave matter. I have called for an urgent meeting and we shall discuss the matter following which we will decide the future course of action," union minister and MCA president Vilasrao Deshmukh told IANS.

A decision on a lifetime ban would be taken only after the meeting of all members from the managing committee of MCA next week, MCA Joint Secretary Nitin Dalal said.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Iqbal Shaikh agreed that the actor was drunk and said police were looking into the matter.

"Shah Rukh was drunk. He was smelling of alcohol but he was not drinking at the Wankhede stadium. But it is not an offence. He was also abusing and threatening MCA and BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) officials," said Sheikh.

Sheikh, who is also a member of the MCA managing committee, said he was present at the ground and tried to prevent the situation from turning ugly.

As the controversy swirled, IPL Chairman Rajiv Shukla said a decision would be taken only after getting all the versions.

The scuffle is unwelcome news for the star, who was in the spotlight in January this year for slapping director Shirish Kunder at a party hosted by Sanjay Dutt.

Shah Rukh's colleagues in Bollywood appeared to be strangely quiet at this latest controversy with no immediate reactions.

Shahrukh Khan ‘misbehaves’ after KKR win; might be banned from Wankhede Stadium

Bollywood star and Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shahrukh Khan is likely to face a lifetime ban on entering the Wankhede stadium after he allegedly misbehaved with security guards and cricket officials at the ground, officials said.

The incident took place Wednesday night after the IPL match between his team and Mumbai Indians. Kolkata Knight Riders won the match.

Shahrukh Khan allegedly misbehaved with a security guard and pushed him. When Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials tried to intervene, he is said to have abused them.

A complaint has been registered in Mumbai's Marine Drive police station by MCA officials, who will decide on the ban Thursday.

"He pushed the security guard and misbehaved with him. He also used bad language with security officials at the stadium. When we tried to intervene, he yelled out expletives at us," MCA Treasurer Ravi Sawant told reporters Thursday morning.

Sawant said Shah Rukh, flanked by the bodyguards, went to the players' dressing rooms to congratulate them. He then came down and started going towards the ground.

"When the security personnel told him that he cannot do so, he abused the guard and his men manhandled the security personnel," he alleged.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Iqbal Shaikh also confirmed the incident and said police were looking into the matter.

How Salman Khan keeps the upper hand with Shahrukh Khan!

In an industry riven by spats and inflated egos, paycheques do matter a lot. And on the remuneration front, Salman Khan, we hear, makes sure to keep an upper hand over his arch rivalShahrukh Khan. How? Read on...

Superstars have always been tightlipped about their acting fee, but it takes no Philip Kotler to figure out that Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan have the best paydays in Bollywood, apart from Aamir Khan, who is in a different league altogether. Anyway, coming back to the two feuding Khans, we hear that Salman Khan had demanded from producer Aditya Chopra a remuneration that is just one rupee more than what Shahrukh Khan is said to be getting for the Yash Chopra film with Katrina Kaif.

This is Salman Khan’s way to ensure that he gets better paid than his rival, even if the difference is of mere one rupee. And since Salman Khan is a major draw at the box office and his last two releases Ready and Bodyguardfared better than Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One and Don 2, the dominance in remuneration is somewhat justified.

Salman Khan is presently working in the Yash Raj Films’ venture Ek Tha Tigerwith Katrina Kaif. Shahrukh Khan, on the other hand, is shooting for the yet untitled film being directed by Yash Chopra in London.

Trouble in Shah Rukh-Gauri's paradise?

Shah Rukh Khan's link-up with his Don co-star Priyanka Chopra has reportedly not gone too well with wife Gauri. The Chopra girl has apparently accused Gauri Khan's good friend Neelam Kothari for spreading the rumours.
Kothari took to Twitter to clear the air: "Don't know how to react to a certain article that has come out today, claiming that I am responsible for starting certain rumours. I'm shocked and hurt with these allegations!! This is the first time in the whole of my career I have been dragged into a controversy.. Not fair at all!! Gauri and Sharukh happen to be my dear friends and will continue to be so.. Would never say anythin derogatory about them(sic)."
It was also reported that PC and Neelam even had a spat over the issue. However, Neelam denied saying: "As for Priyanka Chopra... No we have never had a fight.. Get your facts right people!!(sic)."
Family man Shah Rukh Khan has stumbled in a link-up controversy for the first time in his career. However, he's keeping mum on the controversy, proving silence is the best answer.
Priyanka and SRK have always openly admitted their fondness for each other. The two share a great rapport and have worked together in Don and its sequel.

Shah Rukh to meet Angelina Jolie?

After a number of international celebrities hit headlines by visiting India and meeting Bollywood stars last year, it’s time for Indian film actors to be seen with Hollywood stars on foreign shores. Now, in a meeting that is sure to make many heads turn, actor Shah Rukh Khan will be meeting Hollywood star Angelina Jolie at the upcoming Berlin International Film Festival (Feb 9 - 19), according to sources.
Jolie, who will be attending the fest, will present her directorial debut, In the Land of Blood And Honey, at the Berlinale Special programme of the 62nd edition of the film festival. Meanwhile, SRK will be at the fest for the German premiere of his latest release, Don 2, a major portion of which was shot in the city of Berlin.
“The team of Don 2, including Shah Rukh, Priyanka, Farhan and me are going to be there between Feb 8 and 9,” says Ritesh Sidhwani, producer of Don 2.
“Shah Rukh is a huge fan of the Angelina. And if all goes as per the plan, then they’re surely going to meet in Berlin,” reveals a source.

Top 10 Indian Songs of 2011

No item numbers, but original peppy compositions was the hallmark of Bollywood music in 2011. The first big hit was 'Darling', in the powerful resonating voice of Usha Uthup in Saath Khoon Maaf, while the loud and boisterous Vishal-Shekhar composition 'Oh la la' in The Dirty Picture gave partygoers something to gyrate on at New Year parties.

Some of the chartbusters brought in a whiff of Spanish and Russian flavour to the music. Overall, youthful songs and fresh compositions ruled the charts. A list of 10 most happening songs of 2011...

'Darling'
In the very beginning, Bollywood was introduced to this addictive number from Saath Khoon Maaf. The stretched usage of word "darling" in the powerful voice of Usha Uthup coupled with Rekha Bharadwaj's mischievous tone did the trick for the Vishal Bharadwaj composition. The Russian flavour infused in the song managed to captivate listeners.

'Sadi galli'
Lehmber Hussainpuri's original composition was restricted only to the heartlands of Punjab till composer Krsna discovered it and decided to use the folk number in the film Tanu Weds Manu. The already popular foot-tapping song caught the pulse of the listeners, thanks to its Punjabi lyrics and entertaining beats.

'Chaar baj gaye party abhi baaki hai'
The movie F.A.L.T.U sank without a trace at the box-office, but the only saviour was the energetic party number 'Char baj gaye' by singer Hard Kaur. A Sachin-Jigar composition became so popular that it became a must for discotheques and marriages.

'Dhinka chika'
It wasn't the signature dance step picturized on Salman Khan with his hands in his pockets that made the Ready song a rage. Full on energy, complimented by Mika Singh and Amrita Kak's voice, the infectious composition by guest composer Devi Shri Prasad, who included sound of whistles and dhols, forced everyone to shake a leg.

'Bhaag DK Bose'
The double meaning song from Delhi Belly had become a national anthem of sorts. Composed and sung by Ram Sampath, the quirky, interesting and upbeat number became an instant hit with listeners. A brave move by the producers and smart execution by Sampath as the lyrics projected the lingo of today's youth.

'Senorita'The idea of using voices of actors Abhay Deol, Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar in the fun-loving song from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara worked in favour of the film. Composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the number with Spanish flavour brought in the element of happiness with its happy-go-lucky beats.

'Teri Meri'
A poignant love song, it was definitely not Himesh Reshammiya's best composition, but the number stood out in the average music album of Bodyguard. High on Sufi touch, backed by the soulful voices of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal, it was the only romantic number that made it to the top 10 charts this year.

'Chammak Challo'
If the Shah Rukh Khan starrer mega-budget film RA.One was the most awaited movie of the year, then the song too created a buzz much before its release. The song, which marks Bollywoood's first musical collaboration with international singer Akon, had Hinglish lyrics and a repeat value.

'Sadda Haq'
Music maestro AR Rahman might be selective about choosing his projects, but whenever he does, one expects nothing less than a musical treat. For Rockstar, the composer scored soulful numbers but this power-punched number, sung by Mohit Chauhan, was an instant success.

'Ooh la la'
Sometimes good things are saved for the last. And it happened when the bling king Bappi Lahiri along with Shreya Ghosal went back into the 1970's era and replicated the magic of nonsensical lyrics, loud beats and peppy song. And it all came together with the song 'Ooh la la'.

Don 2 - Review

Don 2
Director: Farhan Akhtar
Actors: Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra
The vice president of the Deutsche central bank, Germany’s equivalent of the Reserve Bank of India, is a gentleman called Diwan (Aly Khan). He is Indian too? Don’s moll exclaims to her boss. “Kya karein sweetheart,” sighs Don, we're everywhere!
Thank god for that. This gives Bollywood’s big-budget filmmakers an excuse to set their films across the world, knowing there will always be one desi among that many goras in every profession the hero can conduct his business with in Hindi. Language rarely suffers. Characters manage to swiftly infiltrate rank and file of the police, besides other offices, secure in the knowledge that no one will ever find out: one out of six or so in the world is an Indian, isn’t it? It is!
In snapshots so far, we’ve travelled with Don around Thailand, Malaysia, Switzerland. The views remain stunning, throughout. Though you might want to see beyond. This is a film after all. Not an apartment on sale. Don is, we’re told, Asia’s biggest underworld king and drug lord, in Berlin now, to steal currency plates of the Euro from the German central bank. Poof.
I’m not certain why you’ll wish him the best. You understand missions to save our world. This is a goner, loner don looking to score a big buck for himself. Scripts such as these usually drop nuggets and back-stories later for audience’s empathy. This doesn’t. Here’s what we know, besides that Don always speaks of himself in third person, can morph his voice and face into Hrithik Roshan’s.
Don
He loves the comic series Tom And Jerry (we saw this in the first part as well). He has seen Godfather. Surrendering himself to the Interpol, he asks top sleuths (Om Puri, Priyanka Chopra) to make him an offer he can't refuse. Yet, his name bears no link to his profession whatsoever.
Dons are often backed by charm and an astonishing empire of loyalists, network of funds, henchmen, consigliere to see them through. The original Don did. The one in this sequel has given himself up to cops so he can enter jail, find his arch-enemy Vardhan (Boman Irani: in a permanent state of scowl), get to a video clip to blackmail Deutsche Bank’s desi Diwan with. Enough backup dancers celebrate Don’s return with the title track that could be a version of Shankar Ehsaan Loy’s brilliant Aaj Ki Raat.
Still, the only person working for him, besides Vardhan, a computer hacker he’s just met (Kunal Kapoor), the moll who’s a mystery (Lara Dutta), is a hit man, who’d been paid to bump him off. He does intend to share his wealth with the few who stick by him and his whims. That’s our vague deduction of his modus operandi. By the way, this is also how a lot of second-rate, star-driven films get made in Mumbai!
Now that we know Don’s essentially a goofy, demented one-man army of sorts, who could be shot off any second, given that many guns and enemies around, let’s quickly get to slick frames, cold colour tones, and rapid action over a hollow heist and hostage drama. Cars blowing up in mid-street are of course formula fare by this genre’s global standards.
SRK
Many, like me, would have clutched tightly to their arm-rests watching the hero dive down Dubai’s Al Burj in the glass-break sequence in Mission Impossible 4 that released two weeks ago. Most things next to it, outside of some huge budget American blockbusters, will seem desperately derivative, wannabe-Hollywood ho-hum. Despite the efforts, this one does. But that was a given. Coolness isn't tight tees and a Tag Heuer ad.
Comparisons are still inevitable. MI:4 starred America’s Shah Rukh Khan and, among others, Anil Kapoor, a Hollywood extra. This one stars India's Tom Cruise. Both Khan and Cruise, leading men, in their late 40s, you can tell, are at similar phases in their careers. Both have had their share of women fans devoted to romantic weepies. They seek core audiences among kids and younger adults, with stunts that may or may not make sense. Merrily going with the flow, suspended in disbelief, is the only way to access a film like MI:4, or Don 2. You do. Or you don't. The latter may be the case here for a good reason.
It wasn’t hard to tell where Farhan Akhtar’s 2006 remake of Chandra Banot's Don (1978) was coming from. The director, among India’s most talented, could interpret an old, clever story on a contemporary visual scale: Common man Vijay, who’s a Mafioso look-alike, gets planted into a dead don’s den. He’s stuck now. The cop who put him there is also dead!
It was Vijay’s story. Salim-Javed’s tight script had a striking plot. The writers here have sub-plots. They continue to stretch and add thought to thought. The picture promises to never end. It gets hard to carry on with inane inventiveness, when you just couldn't care less.
At some point it becomes essential to wonder, as the adorable Vijay might, from the original: "Ee Down Sahab hain con? (Who is this Don?).” Truly. So much for a franchise.
