Salman Khan’s item song for Ajay Devgan!

Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan may not be chaddi-buddies, but when Ajay approached the Khan for a special song in his forthcoming film, he agreed to do it, and is not even charging a fee. Dost ho toh Salman jaisa. Well, the statement is vouched for by all the industrywallahs who know Salman and effusively sing the praises of his benevolence. According to insiders, Salman Khan has been finalized to do an item song in an Ajay Devgan film. Actually Ajay along with his director and producer was brainstorming as to whom to rope in for a peppy track in his film, and they couldn’t think of anyone else but Salman. Soon Ajay contacted Sallu for the song and immediately the star said yes. The two share a very cordial relation ever since they worked together inLondon Dreams. Salman Khan loves to help out his friends and Ajay is no exception. Salman is reportedly not charging a single penny for doing the song. “In fact, he’s doing it as a goodwill gesture for a friend,” the source is quoted as saying by a tabloid. Last year, Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt were also seen doing cameos in Ready at Salman’s behest. They were shooting for Rascals in another part of Thailand, but when Salman called, they made time for Ready as a friendly gesture. Now as Salman is doing the track, Ajay has decided to shoot the song in Mumbai. This would help Salman to concentrate on his Dabangg 2 shoot without travelling anyplace else.
