Esha Deol excited about getting married

While papa Dharmendra is almost ready with wedding plans for his daughter, actor Esha Deol, too, seems to be excited about tying the knot, and reveals that she doesn’t want to miss out on that important phase of life.
“I will get married. I believe that the female actors in this industry should know the right time to settle down. Lots of them get lost, as they are so busy with work. They miss out on the most important part of life, which is to have your own family and kids. I want a big happy family,” says Esha.
She reveals that she will not be marrying an actor, as she won’t be able to accept her husband romancing another woman on screen. “I am very possessive,” she explains.
If her family lineage has spared her from slipping into oblivion, Esha is certain that her two-year hiatus from the silver screen won’t prevent her from reconnecting with the audience.
“In the west, female actors take four-year breaks, and are accepted when they return. Here, we don’t accept actors if they come back after a year or two. But I will set a trend,” she says. Esha will be seen after almost two years in mother Hema Malini’s next film, Tell Me O Kkhuda, releasing next week.
Won’t it be difficult to regain a foothold after being nudged out by her contemporaries? “I’ve never been into the race. I enjoy acting, so I am part of this industry,” insists the 28-year-old, who made her debut with Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe, in 2002. Ask her about working with dad Dharmendra in her upcoming film and she says, “It’s like a dream come true.”
