Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor together in a film!

These two most popular Kapoors in Bollywood were waiting for the right script to work together. Since Ranbir Kapoor is Kareena Kapoor’s first cousin, their sibling status kept them from pairing romantically. Now, director Zoya Akhtar has something interesting for Ranbir and Kareena. 

The maverick filmmaker has convinced the real life cousins to play the lead roles of a brother and sister in her next venture. As a tabloid reports, Zoya Akhtar, after the successful Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara last year, has already started planning her next, and for that the filmmaker has managed to pull off a casting coup of sorts -- two dazzling Kapoors of the film industry. 

“Both Ranbir and Kareena were always aware that they couldn’t pair romantically for any film. So for them to come together for any project, it needed to have an extraordinary script,” a source is quoted as saying. The film revolves around a brother and a sister, to be played by Ranbir and Kareena. 

Zoya Akhtar wants to revive the brother-sister bonding which used to be a crucial sub-plot in the films of 1990s. Zoya narrated the script to Kareena while she was shooting for Talaash, and as per reports Ranbir Kapoor too has heard the script and has given his consent. The movie is likely to go on the floors by the end of this year.

Twinkle Khanna pregnant again!

It’s baby boom in Bollywood. This time, the good news comes from Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna. The lovey-dovey couple is set to become parents again!  Congratulate them!    Ten years after the birth of her first son Aarav, the stork seems to have visited Twinkle Khanna again. The pretty lady has been missing from the social circuit lately, and the word is that she is 11 weeks pregnant. The baby is said to be due in September. Interestingly, both Aarav and Akshay Kumar also celebrate their birthdays in September. While Akshay’s birthday falls on September 9, Aarav was born in September 2002. Akshay and Twinkle Khanna got married in January 2001. Their marriage has been rock solid since then, and Akshay Kumar has been a very devoted husband. Twinkle is said to be in the second trimester of her pregnancy and has been advised complete rest by doctors.

And since Salman Khan is a major draw at the box office and his last two releases Ready and Bodyguardfared better than Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One and Don 2, the dominance in remuneration is somewhat justified.

Salman Khan is presently working in the Yash Raj Films’ venture Ek Tha Tigerwith Katrina Kaif. Shahrukh Khan, on the other hand, is shooting for the yet untitled film being directed by Yash Chopra in London.
