Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor together in a film!

These two most popular Kapoors in Bollywood were waiting for the right script to work together. Since Ranbir Kapoor is Kareena Kapoor’s first cousin, their sibling status kept them from pairing romantically. Now, director Zoya Akhtar has something interesting for Ranbir and Kareena. 

The maverick filmmaker has convinced the real life cousins to play the lead roles of a brother and sister in her next venture. As a tabloid reports, Zoya Akhtar, after the successful Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara last year, has already started planning her next, and for that the filmmaker has managed to pull off a casting coup of sorts -- two dazzling Kapoors of the film industry. 

“Both Ranbir and Kareena were always aware that they couldn’t pair romantically for any film. So for them to come together for any project, it needed to have an extraordinary script,” a source is quoted as saying. The film revolves around a brother and a sister, to be played by Ranbir and Kareena. 

Zoya Akhtar wants to revive the brother-sister bonding which used to be a crucial sub-plot in the films of 1990s. Zoya narrated the script to Kareena while she was shooting for Talaash, and as per reports Ranbir Kapoor too has heard the script and has given his consent. The movie is likely to go on the floors by the end of this year.

KAREENA SPARKS PREGNANCY RUMOURS

After seeing these set of images of the soon-to-be Begum Pataudi any one could have said that she is trying to cover her belly, and possibly baby bump. Seen at the airport avoiding media glares and wearing a loose tee that too with a broad stole which seemed to be serving the purpose of hiding her tummy,Kareena Kapoor recently sparked pregnancy rumours.

Is she really pregnant or just eating well? Kareena herself agrees that she likes curves and so does her man Saif Ali Khan. In her recent appearances to promote Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu and also at various awards function, one can’t deny that she indeed looked fuller and rounded.

We admired her size-zero frame, and we also like her now as a curvaceous Kareena Kapoor. But what’s with her deliberate attempt to cover up her stomach with one hand over it on several occasions? (See the images on the following pages).

However, the insiders have denied that Bebo has a bun in the oven. While speaking to a daily, a source said that the actress isn’t pregnant. “It’s strange how there has been so much frenzy with just a solitary picture floating around. There is no truth to the so-called news and for Kareena it is business as usual.”

Kareena is busy promoting Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, and she will resume shooting for Heroine on February 20. The source, however, claimed that if she was carrying a baby, she wouldn’t have been in any position to shoot for the film.
