Kim Kardashian puts her past behind

Socialite Kim Kardashian says the year will be great for her and that she is more confident about her future.

The 32-year-old Kim said this despite her ongoing divorce from basketball player Kris Humphries. The two parted ways after just 72 days of marriage.

"I've got a feeling this is going to be a good year for me. I'm putting the past behind me and have never felt more confident about my future," she said.

Kim said she still believes in love.

"I'm just going to work on me for a bit. I think you have different soulmates throughout your life, that your soul needs different things at different times," thesun.co.uk quoted Kim as saying.

"I'm sure my soul will meet a mate one day in the future. I do believe in love, I will always believe in love, but my idea has changed from what I've always thought. I just don't believe in one soulmate now," she said.

Never imagined I'd work with Shahrukh Khan again: Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma has been roped in for Yash Chopra's next untitled film, in which she teams up with Shahrukh Khan again. The model-turned-actress says that she never imagined that she would get another chance to work with the superstar.

Anushka Sharma made her debut opposite Shahrukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. "I didn't think I will get a chance to work with Shah Rukh again after my first film, but I did. So, I am the lucky one. I look forward to it. Mr. Yash Chopra is an institution in himself literally. I guess I would get to learn a lot from that film," Anushka told reporters Thursday at the unveiling of India Today's women health magazine.

"I have not started the shooting yet. I will be joining the crew from May onwards right after my birthday, which is on May 1. So I will start shooting from May 2. I am very excited. I think it is any actor's dream to work with Yash Chopra," Anushka added.

Chopra's film also features Katrina Kaif.

The 23-year-old also signed Vishal Bhardwaj's Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, which is a completely different film. Directed by Rony Shaha, the comedy is being produced by Bhardwaj and it features Imran Khan in the male lead.

Anushka Sharma, who has recently finished the first schedule of the film in Rajkot, says the film is different from what she has done so far.

"I am really happy to be working with Vishal Bhardwaj. We just finished a schedule in Rajkot and we are back. He really is a genius director. He knows how much of what you need to use and portray that in his films."

"For me, it was a little different. The kind of films that I have done was different from this one. I was nervous in the beginning, but I think it's going really well and I am really looking forward to it."

The latest piece of news from the controversial Pakistani actress Veena Malik seems like a snippet straight out of The Land of Absurdity. The actress who forayed into, and soon became a household name in the country with her stint in reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss’, has now voiced her elaborate wishes regarding her marriage.
When Veena Malik was asked about her opinion on the cult blockbuster ‘Sholay’, the actress did a great job of articulating her feelings for Amitabh Bachchan. Bachchan, whose performance as Jai in the movie is now an act revered and worshipped by actors in Bollywood and beyond, has no inkling about Malik’s emotions. Veena was heard saying: “I would love to work with the legend Amitabh Bachchan. In fact he is my idol. I have grown watching his films and will marry someone like him only.”
Also, according to the controversy queen, a ‘great female oriented film’ is in store for her sometime soon. And along with her, ace Bollywood legend Dharmendra – aka Veeru of ‘Sholay’ – will be seen in the movie. The film has tentatively been named ‘Rajni Ki Lag Gayi’, and has already set many tongues rolling as to whether our Rajinikanth too is a part of the film or not!
Veena Malik and spice are intertwined with each other. And this time around, she hasn’t spared even Big B. If Veena has her way, she would want Amitabh Bachchan to be among her suitors on her televised ‘Swayamvar’. Veena Malik trying to do a Vidya Balan!

Pakistani actress Veena Malik seems to be following Vidya Balan's footsteps. She has finished shooting for three Bollywood films, Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai, Zindagi 50-50 and Mumbai 125 km, and says all are female centric movies.

"I have always tried to choose and sign such films which have a female-oriented character, where the script is based on the female protagonist," Veena Malik told reporters here.

"Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai" is a comedy, "Zindagi 50-50" is an issue-based drama and "Mumbai 125 km" is a suspense-thriller.

Veena Malik is now shooting for "Rajani Ki Lag Gai".

"I don't have a hero in any one of films I have signed till now except 'Supermodel'. Every film is the story of a girl and the whole story revolves around her."

She has teamed up with Ashmit Patel in "Supermodel" - the two became close when they featured in the reality show "Bigg Boss 4".
