Rapper Nicki Minaj, who is believed to have quit Twitter following the online leak of her tracks, says she left the micro-blogging site because her conscience urged her to do so.
"A voice in my head told me to delete my Twitter and that's what I did. I had 11 million followers and I hope they will wait for me," aceshowbiz.com quoted Nicki Minaj as saying.
"I reply all the time and get to know them by name and I have a really personal bond with them… not all 11 million, but at least 10 of them a day," she said.
The 29-year-old left the micro-blogging site on an angry note.
"Like seriously, it's but so much a person can take. Good f**ing bye," Nicki had written.
It was assumed that the singer took the action when the fan site Nicki Daily posted leaked tracks from her relaunched album "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded".
When asked whether she would return to Twitter one day, Nicki Minaj said: "I don't know yet, I'm thinking about it. I miss my Barbz, please bear with me."
